Water Main Extension for Stocklands

Construction is full steam ahead on the Garfield Rd West Extension.

With earthworks to form the future road and storm-water drainage well underway, the contractor is now preparing for installation of the water main and bridge culvert. Works are on track to be completed in late 2020 and open to traffic in early 2021 following final approvals.

Once complete, the 1.3km 450mm & 375mm water main connecting Abell Road through to Richmond Road, will provide a much-needed additional link in the water infrastructure for the area.
